Recently Alex's Dad had to have emergency Quadruple Heart Bypass surgery and mitral valve replacement, it was touch and go, but luckily he is still with us!
If it wasn't for the research that BHF undertakes - he may not be alive today.
BHF has helped half the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
