At Chubby Mealworms UK, we want every customer to shop with confidence. Please read our returns and refunds policy below for information on returning unwanted, faulty, damaged, or incorrect items.

Returns Information

General Returns

We accept returns of new, unopened items purchased directly from Chubby Mealworms UK within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a resalable condition.

Unless the return is due to an error on our part, such as a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, return postage is the responsibility of the customer. Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the full order is being returned due to our error.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us before returning it. Incorrect, damaged or faulty products should not be used or opened.

Product Exchanges

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue. We may ask for photos or additional information to help us process your request quickly.

• Please do not use products that arrive incorrect, damaged or faulty.
• Any issues must be reported within 28 days of dispatch.

Unwanted Items

If you have ordered an item you no longer require and would like a different product, please return the unwanted item to us and place a new order for the replacement item. Your original payment will be refunded once your return has been received and processed.

How to Return an Item

To start a return, please contact Chubby Mealworms UK for return instructions and the correct return address.

When returning your order, please ensure that:

• The item is securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.
• Your original packing slip is included, or a handwritten note with your order details.
• The product is returned in its original condition wherever possible.

Please note that damage caused during return transit due to insufficient packaging is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item was already faulty or damaged when received.

Refunds Policy

The Refund Process

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will contact you by email to confirm the outcome of your refund.

Refunds are issued using the original payment method used at checkout. We usually process refunds within 2–3 business days of receiving your return. Please allow up to 3 additional business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Refund Amounts

The refund amount depends on the reason for return and the condition of the item received back.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, you may be eligible for a full refund. Chubby Mealworms UK will cover the return postage where faulty or incorrect items have been supplied.

Original delivery costs will only be refunded where the item being returned was the only item in the order. For heavy or bulky items, we may arrange a courier collection at your convenience.

Opened Items in Original Condition

Opened items that are still in their original condition may receive a partial refund of between 50% and 80% of the item price. The exact refund amount will depend on the condition of the product and packaging.

Items Not in Original Condition

Items that are damaged, missing parts, or not returned in their original condition for reasons not due to our error may receive a refund of up to 25% of the item price.

Items Showing Signs of Use

Items with obvious signs of use may receive a refund of up to 25% of the item price, depending on the level of wear or damage.

Return Postage Costs

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, both original postage and return postage are the responsibility of the customer.

If you are unable to arrange a return yourself, we may be able to organise a courier collection for you. The cost of this collection will be the responsibility of the customer and may be deducted from your refund.

Discount Code Refunds

If your order was placed using a discount code or promotional coupon, your refund will be based on the discounted amount paid at checkout.
