Price Rises - We have had to put a lot of our prices up over the last few weeks and some, especially mealworms have gone up by a lot. There are many reasons for the increases. With mealworms the price has been rising for 6 months or so in China but we have managed to hold of on price increases until recently. Container shipping prices have now increased from close to $2,000 per container to over $10,000 which is having a huge effect on prices. A container which would usually take 30 days to get here is now taking over 2 months which is causing major stock pressures on all suppliers of dried mealworms. We do see the situation improving in the future but personally think it could be 6 months or more.
EU - We are currently only shipping order to the ROI via Parcelforce.
Stock Levels - We are continually getting new stock delivered although some items that come from the EU are being delayed. Container shipments are subject to severe delays which is putting pressure on our stock levels. Some items may be shipped in clear bags rather than our usual packaging as we obtain stock from alternative sources.
There are a lot of items from other manufacturers that are out of stock. We are placing new orders on a regular basis but some items may be unavailable for several months due to the same issues that we are having.

Latest - All Friday and weekend orders will ship today (15/02/2021). We hope to ship some of todays early morning orders but the majority will not ship until tomorrow.
EU - We are currently only shipping order to the ROI via Parcelforce.

Container shipments are subject to severe delays which is putting pressure on our stock levels. Some items may be shipped in clear bags rather than our usual packaging as we obtain stock from alternative sources.

Latest - All Friday and weekend orders will ship today (25/01/2021), todays orders will not ship until tomorrow 26/01/2021.
EU - DPD are not accepting any EU Packages at the moment due to customs issues. Please expect delays of a week or more for anything shipped to the EU. All EU parcels will be sent by Parcelforce.

12.55pm update - Unfortunately we can confirm that no couriers or Royal Mail are collecting from us today due to heavy snow. We will aim to get all orders out tomorrow. We also have had new stock delayed by at least a day which will cause back orders not to be sent out.
10.40am update - We have heavy snow this morning which is due to continue through the day. Although we are packing orders it is unlikely that any orders will be collected by our couriers and Royal Mail today.
Latest - This morning we are due new stock however snow could lead to issues with receivng this and sending out back orders. We will be doing everything we can to ship all orders.

Latest - We are seeing exceptional demand at the moment due to the latest UK lockdown restrictions and the cold weather we are having. We are managing to keep on top of orders however some couriers (Hermes and Parcelforce) are seeing slight delays with Royal Mail items taking considerably longer to be delivered.
