This handy A5 fold-out chart features 44 of Britain’s commonest garden and woodland birds.

Birds are divided into families (finches, sparrows, tits, thrushes, small songbirds, crows, pigeons woodpeckers and tree creepers).

It is the perfect size to fit in your backpack for use when out walking or to simply keep near a window for spotting garden visitors.

The chart includes key identifiers per bird and where males and females differ greatly both are included.

Brilliant starter guide

My husband bought a bird feeding station in lock down and gets a lot of enjoyment from watching the wildlife visit. When I went to order some mealworms, I saw the ad for the National Trust quick guide A5 card and my husband absolutely loves it. Everyday when I come home he has identified another bird that has visited. The guide is really good as it groups different specifies together so we can both now recognise which bird is which!!

Happy birds in my garden

This is a lovely, colourful, well laid out chart with just a simple explanation about the birds; kids will love this useful learning tool and it's very handy as a quick reference chart. Would recommend.
