Combining a durable, purpose-built nyjer seed feeder with a versatile stainless steel feeding tray, this practical feeding solution helps reduce dropped seed, minimise mess and make the most of your wild bird food.

Designed for year-round garden bird feeding, the heavy-duty nyjer feeder features a striking purple finish, a powder-coated steel lid and an angled quick-release base for easier filling and cleaning. The specially designed feeding ports allow small birds to access fine nyjer seed, making it an excellent choice for attracting goldfinches and other finches to your garden.

The included Honeyfield's Heavy Duty Multi-Use Tray attaches beneath the feeder to catch falling seeds and provide an additional feeding surface. This helps reduce wasted food while allowing birds to feed from the tray as well as the feeder itself.

Designed for Nyjer Seed Feeding

Nyjer seed is a small, oil-rich seed particularly popular with goldfinches. Unlike general-purpose seed feeders, the Honeyfield's Heavy Duty Nyjer Seed Feeder is designed to dispense these fine seeds through suitable feeding openings, allowing visiting birds to feed without excessive spillage.

The feeder's sturdy construction and practical design make it ideal for hanging from a garden feeding station, tree branch or suitable bird feeder bracket.

Multi-Use Tray for Less Mess and More Feeding Options

The included Honeyfield's Heavy Duty Multi-Use Tray is more than just a seed catcher. When fitted beneath the nyjer feeder, it collects falling seeds that might otherwise end up on the ground, giving birds another opportunity to feed.

The tray can also be used separately for a variety of garden feeding activities, including:

• Attaching beneath compatible Honeyfield's Heavy Duty Feeders to catch dropped food.
• Hanging independently as an open feeding tray.
• Providing dried mealworms, sunflower hearts, suet pellets and other suitable wild bird foods.
• Placing on the ground using its base to feed ground-feeding birds.
• Using as a shallow water dish for drinking or bathing.

Its adaptable design makes it a useful addition to any garden bird feeding station, even when not attached to the nyjer feeder.

What Birds Will This Bundle Attract?

Nyjer seed is particularly attractive to goldfinches, although other small finches may also visit. When the multi-use tray is used separately with alternative foods, it can encourage a wider range of garden birds, including robins, sparrows, tits and blackbirds.

Feeding and Care Advice

Fill the feeder with fresh, good-quality nyjer seed and hang it in a sheltered position where birds have a clear view of their surroundings. Position the feeder away from areas where predators could easily approach, ideally near natural cover.

Regularly remove old seed and debris from the tray, and clean both components thoroughly using a suitable bird feeder cleaning product. Allow them to dry before refilling. If using the tray for water, refresh it daily and clean it regularly.

Whether you're hoping to welcome more goldfinches into your garden or simply want a tidier and more versatile feeding setup, the Honeyfield's Heavy Duty Nyjer Seed Feeder & Multi-Use Tray Bundle offers a durable and practical solution.
