Where to Position the Nest Box

Place the bird house in a quiet, sheltered location away from busy feeding areas and direct midday sunlight. Position it securely above ground level, with the entrance facing between north and east where possible, to reduce exposure to strong sunlight and prevailing rain.

Clean the nest box after the breeding season has finished and the birds have left.
