This open-front bird nest box is expertly crafted from heavy-duty larch wood, this eco-friendly nesting box is naturally waterproof and weather-resistant, making it perfectly suited to the changing seasons. Designed with a slanted, overhanging roof, it helps shield birds and nesting materials from rain, wind and harsh weather, making it ideal for year-round outdoor use.

The front of the nest box features a fully open 8cm-high access panel across the full width, making it especially suitable for robins, wagtails, pied flycatchers and other open-nesting bird species. This open design also allows discreet nest monitoring, giving you the opportunity to observe birds during the breeding season without disturbing them.

A separate wooden mounting plinth is included and can be securely fixed to the back of the box using the supplied screws, allowing easy attachment to trees, fences, walls or sheds. The box is finished with a clear, wildlife-safe preservative, enhancing durability while maintaining a natural appearance that blends seamlessly into gardens and woodland settings.
