Soon empty!

These filled coconut halves with strong, long string hangers attached are very good value for money and I will be re-ordering again soon. The birds love them so much that the half coconut shells are soon empty. It's nice that they are stored in a plastic tub because I can carry it out into the garden from the garage without juggling the half coconuts in my hands. I usually attach 3 on the bird feeding station and twist the strings tight round the pegs so they don't hang too much and knock the contents out on the pole. However, the bits of seeds, mealworms etc that do drop on the ground are soon guzzled up by the pigeons and other ground feeding birds like the pied wagtail, robin and even sparrows, although they and the pigeons do attack the coconuts in situ. We mainly get hoards of starlings and now their youngsters too, so the cacophony of noise, screeching and shrieking that goes on wakes us up at 5.30 these mornings. Good product, enjoyed by all the birds and usefully arrive in a tub. Highly recommended.
