Chubby Dried Daphnia is an excellent food & a great source of protein for young fish. For all aquarium fish, small Koi, all pond fry, reptiles, amphibians, young turtles and terrapins.
Our Chubby Daphnia is dried using a state-of-the-art low-temperature drying process that results in better retention of nutrients and flavours. Size ranges from 5 microns to 750 microns.
Daphnia, a small crustacean also known as a "water flea," is organic and naturally full of the blue-green algae, Aphanizomenom flos-aquae (AFA), making it an excellent source of HUFA's, including Arachidonic Acid, Alpha-Linolenic Acid and Linoeic Acid.
Feed in addition to regular food or as a treat. Can be fed as sold or sprayed with water, frozen and used to feed bottom feeders such as catfish
